Zinkworks Joins TM Forum Catalyst Project, Sustainable 5G: Smart RAN Energy Management 

We are thrilled to announce that Zinkworks will be participating in the Catalyst project C25.0.783 ‘Sustainable 5G: Smart RAN Energy Management.’ This initiative is part of TM Forum’s Catalyst program, which brings together companies to collaborate on innovative solutions for the telecommunications industry.

The ‘Sustainable 5G: Smart RAN Energy Management’ project focuses on developing energy-efficient solutions for Radio Access Networks (RAN), a critical component of 5G infrastructure managed by telecom operators. By optimizing energy usage, this project aims to reduce the environmental impact of 5G networks while maintaining high performance and reliability. 

• Champions: AXIAN, Dhiraagu, GCI, and Verizon.  
• Partners: Sutherland, Snowflake, Tupl, and Zinkworks. 

This project will be one of the 50+ Catalyst projects debuting groundbreaking innovations at DTW Ignite in Copenhagen. Our catalyst team will be showcasing our contributions live in the Quad and on the Innovation Arena stage on the 18th of June 2025 at 5:10PM CET. This event is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate Zinkworks commitment to sustainability and technological advancement.
