Zinkworks Recap at DTW Ignite 2025: Driving Innovation and Collaboration in Telecom

As DTW Ignite 2025, hosted by TM Forum, comes to an end, we are reflecting on an incredible three days of innovation, insight, and inspiration. The Zinkworks team was proud to be on the ground in Copenhagen, connecting with industry leaders and showcasing how we are helping shape the future of autonomous networks.

A Strong Presence Across the Event

Throughout the event, Zinkworks was active across multiple key locations:

Zinkworks Booth – Hall C2, Booth 252

Our main booth served as a dynamic hub for showcasing Zinkworks’ latest advancements in autonomous network management. We presented agentic AI solutions that are not just theoretical, they are practical, deployable systems pushing the boundaries of Level 5 network autonomy.

These solutions are designed to:

  • Execute real-time closed loop debugging to continuously optimize network performance.
  • Conduct deep root cause analysis using intelligent, agent-based diagnostics.
  • Power digital twin environments that support informed, real-world decision-making.

Visitors experienced firsthand how AI can drive operational efficiency, reduce complexity, and unlock new levels of performance for telecom operators.

Google Cloud Booth – Hall C2, Booth 201

In collaboration with Google Cloud, we showcased our cutting-edge Digital Twin solution, powered by Spanner and intelligent agents. This solution goes beyond simulation, it creates a real-time, virtual representation of the network that mirrors live operations, enabling proactive, data-driven decision-making.

Visitors experienced how this technology is transforming network operations by:

  • Predicting and preventing issues before they impact service.
  • Visualizing complex network behaviours in real time.
  • Enabling closed-loop automation for faster, smarter responses.
  • Scaling seamlessly across hybrid and cloud-native environments.

By combining Zinkworks’ expertise in autonomous systems with Google Cloud’s robust infrastructure and AI capabilities, we are helping CSPs unlock new levels of agility, efficiency, and resilience.

AI & Data Innovation Zone – Kiosk i3.13

At Kiosk i3.13, the catalyst team showcased cutting-edge innovations for energy-efficient Radio Access Networks (RAN), designed to enable greener, smarter connectivity. Built on TM Forum standards and the O-RAN Alliance framework, this scalable, vendor-agnostic solution is ready to transform networks worldwide with measurable impact:

  • Reduce RAN energy usage by up to 25%
  • Cut carbon emissions by 20%
  • Improve EBITDA margins by up to 3 percentage points

Thought Leadership on Stage

Zinkworks also took part in two sessions:

“The AI & Data Pathway: VMO2’s Journey to an AI-driven Network”

On June 18th, 2025, Zinkworks joined Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) and Google Cloud for a compelling fireside chat at DTW Ignite. The session attracted an engaged audience looking to explore how leading Communication Service Providers are leveraging automation, data intelligence, and cloud-native technologies to build the networks of tomorrow.

This insightful discussion offered a deep dive into the strategies and real-world implementations driving VMO2’s journey toward full network autonomy, powered by intelligent agents, predictive analytics, and closed-loop automation.

Key Outcomes Shared:

  • 40% reduction in support tickets
  • 60-minute decrease in average ticket resolution time
  • Significant progress toward Level 4 network autonomy

“Smart RAN Energy Management” Catalyst Session

Later that day, Sutherland showcased the collaborative “Sustainable 5G: Smart RAN Energy Management” Catalyst project, developed in partnership with Zinkworks, Snowflake, Tupl Inc., and leading CSPs including Verizon, AXIAN Telecom, Dhiraagu, and GCI Communication Corp.

This initiative focuses on optimizing energy consumption across Radio Access Networks (RAN) using AI-driven dynamic energy management. By intelligently adjusting power usage based on real-time traffic and network demand, the solution ensures efficient energy use without compromising service quality.

What makes it innovative?

Instead of running at full capacity 24/7, the system dynamically scales energy consumption, reducing usage during off-peak hours and optimizing performance during high-demand periods. The result? A more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible network.

Looking Ahead

DTW Ignite 2025 was more than just an event, it was a powerful showcase of what is possible when innovation meets collaboration. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who visited our booths, attended our sessions, and engaged in meaningful conversations.

At Zinkworks, we are not just imagining the future of telecom, we are building it. From agentic AI and digital twins to sustainable RAN solutions, our technologies are designed to help Communication Service Providers (CSPs) unlock new levels of efficiency, intelligence, and agility.
