“I joined Zinkworks in 2019 as a Software Engineer with a specialization in DevOps. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of projects in both telecommunication and financial domains, each with its own unique applications and tool stacks. These experiences have significantly expanded my expertise and knowledge in the field.
Reflecting on my journey, I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made in my career. The most rewarding aspect of working at Zinkworks is the people. There’s always something new to learn from the colleagues, along with countless opportunities to engage with cutting-edge technologies. I am truly grateful to be working here with a great bunch of people. Zinkworks truly fosters an environment where software engineers can continuously grow and evolve.”
“From the very moment I joined Zinkworks I was met with kindness and laughter from each employee I talked to. From learning new things every day in my apprenticeship with such a carefully curated programme to talking possible growth and future within the company I have been guided so well by my mentors. I have been given resources for anything I have or will set my mind on to grow here.
One of my favourite aspects about working with Zinkworks is their dedication to learning.
With my goal to go down the Product Management route I have been given opportunities to step up in my team and to practice some skills I will need for this future role. It is such a unique opportunity to be able to make mistakes and fix them as I go but with the apprenticeship this is possible and the advice I am getting along the way I will be taking with me throughout my career.”
“I joined Zinkworks in 2018 as a software engineer, where I gained extensive experience in designing, coding, and testing. As my career evolved, I transitioned into the role of a Scrum Master, where I facilitated agile development processes and coordinated cross-functional teams. In this role, I ensured smooth communication between the stakeholders and developers, helping my team stay focused and on track to meet project goals.
The best part about Zinkworks is that they are keen on knowing an individual’s career development path and helping them grow. As I wanted to leverage my technical background and leadership skills to guide projects from conception to completion, I put forward my interest to be a project manager. I’m glad that I got a suitable opportunity when I returned from maternity leave, and I have currently taken up the role of a Project Manager in Valeo. My primary focus is to align on business objectives with technical execution, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.”
